Can I create purchase orders?

Yes. Go to the Procurement section, under Inventory, and start a new purchase order from there — it opens a short wizard for building it out. The same section also brings your vendors and goods receipts together with your purchase orders, in one place.

A purchase order tracks:

• The supplier
• The items and quantities
• The unit prices
• The delivery status

Two things need to already be in place before you create one directly in Procurement:

The supplier has to already exist as a vendor — see Vendor management if you haven't added them yet Every line item has to match an item already in your inventory; the purchase order form can't carry a free-text line

You can also upload a photo or scan of a supplier's bill, or a buying spreadsheet, from Procurement, and Nassima will draft a purchase order from it — matching the supplier or creating a new one, and lining up the items and quantities against your inventory. Unlike the manual form, this import can create a new inventory item on its own when a line on the bill doesn't match anything you already stock, so it's worth checking the draft for lines that should have matched something existing instead. Either way, it comes into Procurement as a draft, not an approved order, so you still review and confirm it there.

You can also ask Nassima what's worth reordering — for example, "What's running low that I should restock?" — and she'll flag low-stock items and suggest what to buy. That's a suggestion for you to act on, not a purchase order created on her own.

When the delivery arrives, recording the goods receipt is what updates your stock — there's no separate manual stock entry to make. The receiving process itself is covered under Goods receipt notes.

Procurement covers the whole buying cycle — order, receive, and see where your stock stands, without a separate spreadsheet to keep in sync.
