Can I customize my quote template?

Yes. Go to Setup Studio, then Templates, and open the Quote section to customize your quote template.

From there, you can:

Start from one of Nassima's ready-made quote templates Build a custom template based on one of those, instead of starting from scratch Set the fields your team fills in when pricing a job, the items on the quote, and any approval steps before it goes out

To create a custom quote template, Nassima needs:

• A base template to build it from
• The fields, items, and approval workflow for the new template

Naming the template is optional.

Every change you save to a template is kept as a new version, so earlier versions of the template stay on record.

A quote template is a different kind of template than an invoice template. It shapes the quote-creation form itself — the fields your team fills in when pricing a job, the items on it, and any approval steps — rather than the document's layout or branding. Layout and branding for the document are handled separately, from the Documents tab in Setup Studio. Set a template up once, and every quote you send follows it automatically.
