How do I collect payments?

یہ جواب فی الحال صرف انگریزی میں شائع ہے۔

Yes. Open the invoice you want paid and generate the payment link from there — a payment link is generated per invoice, not as a stand-alone step, and Nassima builds it straight from that invoice's own customer record, so there's nothing extra to enter.

A payment link can:

Be generated for a specific invoice, from that invoice's own record Be emailed to the customer directly from there, or copied so you can send it yourself another way Be paid with whichever method your connected gateway supports

Every link you generate also shows up on the Payment Links page, under Finance > Payments, where you can see its status, amount, and expiry at a glance, and expire it early if you need to. That page is where you track links you've already created — it isn't where you create a new one.

A one-off payment link for an amount that isn't tied to any invoice isn't something you can generate today, from the dashboard or by asking Nassima — link generation is scoped to an existing invoice.

If the AI receptionist is enabled on the channel a customer reaches you on, a customer asking about an outstanding invoice in that conversation — for example, "Can I pay my last invoice now?" — can be sent a payment link right there, and told whether it's already been paid, without you having to generate or send anything yourself. Nassima checks with the customer before actually sending it, the same way it does for other actions with a real consequence — see Action consent. This is something Nassima does for that customer, inside that conversation; it isn't yet something you can trigger yourself by asking Nassima, over your own connected channels, to send a link to a customer on your behalf.

Every payment link expires 24 hours after you generate it. If it expires before the customer pays, you can generate a new one from the same invoice, which gets its own fresh 24-hour window.

You need a payment gateway connected first — Stripe is what's live today (PayPal and Inflowpay are coming soon). With Stripe, Nassima can also charge a customer's saved payment method automatically on a recurring schedule, instead of sending a fresh invoice and link every period.

Setting up a gateway is covered under Accept payments from your customers. The mechanics of generating a link tied to an invoice, including what carries over automatically, are covered under Invoice payment links. What the customer sees when they open the link and pay is covered under Online checkout for invoices, and the different ways a storefront order can be paid, deposited, or paid later has its own section under Storefront checkout modes.

Once a link is paid, the payment lands against the same customer and invoice record as everything else, alongside their other invoices and payments.

Generate the link from the invoice, send it however works best, and Nassima keeps track of whether it's been paid — so chasing payment status doesn't have to be a manual check.
