How do notifications work?

Yes. Nassima notifies you right inside the app whenever something needs your attention.

Open the Notifications section to see the full list. New orders, payments received, booking requests, and customer messages all raise a notification there. The same list, with the same actions, is also reachable from the notification bell in the top navigation, so you can act without leaving whatever you're already working on.

From a notification in the Notifications section or the bell, you can:

Mark it as read Decide directly on a pending approval, approving or declining it right there, when your permissions allow it Rate whether the notification was useful or not

Your dashboard shows a related but narrower view: just the notifications that are waiting on your approval, where you can decide on them the same way. It doesn't carry the mark-as-read or usefulness-rating actions the Notifications section and bell do.

A pending approval — whether you're deciding it from the Notifications section, the bell, or the dashboard — can come from different parts of Nassima, such as a quote waiting on approval, an employee payment, or an employee loan request. What happens once you approve one of those is covered under Quote approval workflow, Employee payments, and Employee loans — this is just where you see and act on them as they arrive.

On the dashboard specifically, a pending approval can also carry a manual Auto-handle option, for straightforward cases that meet preset criteria. It isn't a personal preference you set — whether it's available at all depends on how your account is configured — so treat it as an occasional manual shortcut on that view, not something notifications handle for you automatically.
