How do I create a quote?

Go to Operations, then Quotes, and create a new one to put together an estimate for a customer.

You'll need the customer already in the system to start. From there, an estimate can carry:

• Line items, each with a description, quantity, and price
• A validity period
• Notes
• A discount, if you're giving one

You don't need every line item locked in before you save — you can create the estimate first and add items afterward, from its detail page, as the pricing comes together.

Because the estimate is tied to the customer's own record, it sits alongside their other conversations, bookings, jobs, and invoices rather than living on its own.

Once it's ready, send the estimate by message or through the customer portal. When the customer approves it, it can move into a job or an invoice — see Create a job and Estimate to payment workflow for what happens from there.
