How do I record a payment?
Esta resposta está, por agora, publicada apenas em inglês.
Open the invoice from the Sales section under Finance, then select Record Payment.
This covers any payment that reaches you outside Nassima's online flow — cash in hand, a bank transfer into your account, a cheque, or a card run through your own terminal. Enter the amount and choose the method. Nassima currently supports:
- Cash
- Card
- Bank transfer
- Cheque
- Mobile payment
There's also a general Other option for anything that doesn't fit those. You can add a note to the payment too — a reference number, which terminal it went through, whatever's useful to keep with the record.
Partial payments are completely fine. Nassima tracks what's been paid and what's still outstanding, and every payment you record — partial or in full — generates a receipt right away. The invoice sits at Partially Paid while a balance remains, and moves to Completed automatically the moment it's fully settled.
Payments made through a payment link or Nassima's own online checkout — via Stripe — record themselves. You don't do anything for those; the invoice updates on its own the moment the payment clears. Manual recording is only for money that reaches you some other way.
If you want the complete picture of everything paid against an invoice, loyalty and discounts included, that lives in the invoice's settlement breakdown — this step is just about adding a new payment.
You can also ask Nassima whether an invoice has already been paid, without opening it yourself — for example: "Has invoice #1042 for John Smith been paid yet?"
Recording a payment takes a few seconds, and once it's in, the invoice, its receipt, and the customer's own ledger all update together.
