How do inspections work?
Esta resposta está, por agora, publicada apenas em inglês.
Yes. An inspection documents the condition of a vehicle, a piece of equipment, or a property — built from subjects, check points, and photos as you go.
For a job, open the work order and go to its Inspections tab to start one. If what you're inspecting is registered as a business asset, you can start its inspection directly from Asset management instead — no work order needed. Either way, from there you add:
- Subjects
- Check points
- Photos and other media
Nassima doesn't yet flag issues from the photos automatically — you review what's uploaded and log the findings yourself.
To see every inspection across your business, not just the ones under the work order you currently have open, go to Operations and open the Inspections section. Your reusable checklists live in the same area, under Inspection templates, so you're not rebuilding the same subjects and check points on every job.
Once your findings are logged, you can convert them into quote line items in one action, without retyping anything into a new quote. The line items that come out of an inspection work the same way as any other quote line item — see Quote line items and coverage for how those work.
Parts and consumables used on the job itself are tracked separately, under Job items and consumables. For inspections tied to a business asset, the findings also feed into Fixed asset reports.
An inspection with photos and findings attached becomes the paper trail behind the quote you send the customer.
