What are entitlements?

Esta respuesta está publicada por ahora solo en inglés.

Entitlements are what a membership plan actually covers — the amount of a service, or its cost, that's included in a customer's plan before they'd otherwise pay for it.

With entitlements set up on a plan, Nassima:

Applies them automatically to every job and invoice you create for that member Covers a service fully, partially, or at a set discount, depending on how that plan item is configured Stops applying the discount once a customer has used up what's included on their plan, so anything beyond that is billed at the normal rate Returns the allowance to the customer's plan when a job that used it is fully refunded

If a plan item covers the whole job, the invoice settles at zero. If it only covers part, the customer pays the difference — the covered amount rides on the invoice's own discount rather than a separate credit line, so there's nothing extra for your team to reconcile.

One caveat worth knowing: the allowance only comes back on a full refund. If you only partially refund a job, none of the entitlement that was used is returned to the plan.

The fastest way to check how much of a member's allowance is left is right on the customer's own profile: open them from the Customers section and you'll see a badge like "8 of 10 washes left" — expand it for the full breakdown across every entitlement on their plan, no need to go anywhere near Memberships just for a quick check.

You can also get there from the membership side: open their subscription from Operations, then Memberships, then Members, and open the What's included panel for that member — it shows the same usage-against-plan detail, entitlement by entitlement.

That balance isn't visible to the customer in their own portal yet, and Nassima can't quote an exact remaining-allowance figure in conversation either. It can tell you or a member which plan they're on and its current status if asked, but a precise "how much is left" number is something your team checks for them for now.

How a membership discount shows up in an invoice's full payment breakdown is covered under Invoice settlement breakdown, and the general mechanics of issuing a refund are covered under Credit notes and debit notes — this entry is specifically about what triggers entitlement coverage and when a refund puts it back.

Set the coverage once on the plan, and Nassima applies it the same way on every job after that, so nobody has to remember which customer gets what covered.
