Does Nassima support e-invoicing?

Yes. Nassima can file your invoices electronically with the tax authorities that require it, and where you do that depends on your country.

Right now, two countries are handled end to end:

Saudi Arabia: Nassima generates the ZATCA-compliant document, digitally signs it, and submits it to ZATCA.

France: Nassima generates a Factur-X invoice and submits it through the country's PDP.

If your business is registered in Saudi Arabia or France, every submission runs through the E-invoicing section under Finance.

For other countries, including the UAE, Nassima currently generates a standard, compliant e-invoicing document you can download, but it is not yet submitted automatically to a tax authority. You will not find that download in the E-invoicing section — that section is only available for Saudi Arabia and France. Instead, once the invoice is marked paid or completed, open the invoice itself from Invoices under Finance, where a compliance card lets you download the document directly.

Whether a given invoice needs e-invoicing depends on your business's tax registration and country. To submit one, Nassima needs the issued invoice itself and your tax registration on file, and it checks eligibility invoice by invoice rather than assuming every invoice qualifies.

Once a submission is underway, in Saudi Arabia or France, you can follow it through its stages:

• Queued
• Processing
• Document generated
• Signed
• Submitted
• Cleared or reported, for Saudi Arabia
• Sent or accepted, for France

If one is rejected, or fails validation, you can see why on that submission's page and resubmit it. Nassima also retries a failed submission automatically, up to three times, before it needs your attention.
